This is my first video for the song Armada. I wrote the beat in 2010 and decided to finalize the song in 2013. Excited with my results, I decided I should finally make a video for my music, as this was a goal of mine when I began playing with filmmaking at 14. I never had the confidence in myself, and the music I wrote was always just for me.
But even so, I should be content in knowing that perhaps at least 1 other out there will find some meaning in this.

Note the parachute pants in the closet, the movie poster for Godzilla (which I saw once), the giant blanket blocking the balcony that overlooked the rest of the house, my 1 (of 3) Middle Earth maps, and my favorite thing: the TV, which I used in much of the late 90s recording music videos onto tapes.
Why does it feel good to celebrate something when it's complete? Songs, films, paintings, spreadsheets, running, crying, meetings, car rides, train rides, waiting, grokking, and life.
The anxiety of the inbetween should never be washed away when something is finalized, because it will only return again. Save the celebrating for the moments inbetween.
